Congrats to TR for yesterdays result. Must say I had you third but I was happy to be proved wrong (for once). It's great to see the band making progress again after a rough couple of months. Good luck to you in Harrogate.

We were happy with that result. It confirms us as safe right in the middle of the section for next year. By my counting, and its completely unofficial, Selkirk will be top ranked band next year. As a newly promoted band TR will go in with 13 points so I reckon that'll put you about fifth. Anyway, it shouldn't come down to rankings. Look at Broxburn Livi this year. After last years ninth place they needed a good one to stay in the first section so they just went right out and got second place. They still won't be in the first section next year though

I thought we would carry over our 3rd from last year plus, 6.5 for going up , that make 9.5?

I thought Broxburn in the 3rd section , Played a good Standard, especially for going of 1st.It gave the men in the box a good base on which to compare all the other bands from. There was generally a no bad standard for most bands. I felt that some band let themselves down with overblowing and dynamic contrast.
I think all sections now have a fife band in each of them. There seems to of been a cluster of bands from Fife in the 3rd section for a while now.
P.S Hard lines Dunfermline, and Buckhaven.
