The Scottish Co-op Band are hosting a joint concert with the Trusts Waitakere Brass Band from New Zealand, on Friday the 29th September 2006 in the Sherbrooke St Gilbert's Church in Pollokshields, Glasgow
This will be the only Scottish date on the New Zealand Band's European Tour and sees the return to Glasgow of the former Co-op tuba player, Simon Kerwin, as conductor of the Trusts Waitakere Brass.
Scottish Co-op Band will open the concert in the first half with an exciting programme which will also feature the band's soloists, followed in the second half by their Kiwi guests.
Admission is free and following the concert, there will be a social event to which all are invited.
Promises to be a good night and would hope to see as many people as possible from the Scottish Banding scene.
