;D Why do people travell around the country following the old firm? Then they have a go when there getting gubbed in Europe, by saying the legue aint strong enough. If they followed there Local team then Teams Like Raith Rovers , and The Towneys they will eventually be more succesfull. Rovers average gate this year is about 1500, What happend to all the Glory hunters 10 years ago when we beat the Tims , to take the legue cup. Probably back at Ibrox watching the other team in blue. Or Cetic for that matter. Common!! the more fans , the more cash for the club, the better players, the more even our game will be , and the better in Europe we will become once again.

Tom, I don't really want to put your team down but, where did this "once again" come from?

" once again " meant all Scottish clubs , not just the old firm.
But now that you mention it ,Rovers did do Scottish football proud when they were in Europe 10 years ago. Got beat only by the winner Bayern. And by Bayerns lowest aggragate score that year.

I feel the need to defend my honour here. I was indeed born in the fair green place, Dennistoun to be exact. Within a bottles throw of Paradise itself. Father, grandfather, great grandfather, heck even the ones who were deported to Australia for horse stealing, they were all tims so chances are I wasn't going to support anyone else. Having said all that my wee boy will be allowed to make up his own mind on whether he goes to Parkhead with dad or Starks Park (if it's still there in seven years time) with grandad on a Saturday.

I assume, Alec, that Mr Martin was not impressed - humbug Actually, Mr Gilmour was less than impressed. I'm prepared to allow a certain amount of leeway, especially in the Sports section, but the post in question was a bit too near the bone - even with the following smiley Keep it friendly chaps...

I suppose it's quite difficult to to get your point across sometimes without it sounding offensive. In Alec's defence, I can't imagine he meant it to sound like that - hope not anyway!
