Excelent stuff, Grant. We at Devilish Publishing had this idea of doing these online education tools using Flash technology.
You should seriously consider adding a paid membership section, so that users can pay for more educational Flash stuff, using cool interfaces with even more interactivity, which is what Flash is really good at!
Hope this works out well for you, it's certainly a great idea and profit is to be made from it!

The reason that there is no paid membership is I want it to be as accessible as possible, some of the pupils I teach can`t afford to purchase books etc so I felt the need for a free resource was an essential. Also if people are paying for it there is an expectation of how good the site is. It has cost me quite a bit to do it but hopefully through advertising that can be clawed back. The important thing for me is that people get to use it, benefit from it and hopefully enjoy using it too.
Keep your eyes out for the Virtual Christmas concert! Thanks for the comments! Grant

Absolutely fantastic! why not just ask for sponsors instead of getting paid membership. There's too much of this philosophy of having to pay to gain knowledge. Why not approach SBBA or some bands who have junior sections or beginners brass?
What a great website though congrats! N keep it up!

Cheers for the comments I totally agree with you about paid knowledge - however you do have to make a living somewhere (hence this being a support site for my teaching). My 120 little brass monkeys seem to respond well to it and spend all their time practising from it. Now it is just the job of getting it round and getting other people using it. It all takes time but I`m happy with the result - (my bank account isn`t though) Keep checking back for the virtual xmas concert!
